Collective Rhythms of Pain is a dance performance developed by Lyn Bentschik together with a team with lived experience of chronic pain. Through the synergy of choreography and creative accessibility, they delve into the world of chronic pain experiences and explore what a world feels like where pain doesn't have to be hidden for fear of pathologizing it. The focus is on the expressive languages and rhythms of pain, which can be shared and felt, developing their own artistic and social power. This results in a relaxed performance with creative surtitles that invites the audience to explore their own relationship to pain(s).
